Muni Maharaj:-

1. Acharya Vidyasagar

Acharya Vidyasagar is the best known of the modern Digambar Jain Acharyas.

He was born as Vidyadhar, Oct. 10, 1946 on sharad Purnima in Sadalaga, Dist. Belgam, Karnataka. His father was Shri Mallappa , who later became Muni Mallisagar and eventually attained samadhi. His mother Shrimati later became Aryika Samayamati, who has also attained samadhi.

He was initiated a monk by Acharya Gyansagarji in in 1968. He was elevated to the Acharya status in 1972.

An expert in classical (Sanskrit and Prakrit) and several modern languages, Hindi, Karathi and Kannada), he has been a profic author in Hindi and Sanskrit. Several researchers have studied his works for masters and doctoral degrees. His work includes
Sanskrit texts: Niranjana Shataka, Bhavana Shataka, Parishah Jaya Shataka, Suniti Shataka and Shramana Shataka.
Hindi epic: Muka mati.
Verse translations of classics: Yogasara, Ishopadesha, Samayasar (Kundakunda ka Kundan), Gomatesh thudi etc.
He has initiated more than 257 monks.

2.Muni Kshamasagarji
Muni Kshamasagarji, the disciple of Acharya Shri VidhyasagarJi Maharaj is among one of the most respected Jain Sant. Munishri,an M.Tech. from the Sagar University,renounced all the worldly pleasures and material belongings to become an ascetic at the tender age of 23 to tread on the path of peace and salvation as propagated by his Guru Acharya Shri Vidhyasagar ji.
Another very important facet of Munishri's personality is the poet Kshamasagarji. His poetry is as tender and full of compassion and human emotions as he is. The poems of Munishri ooze love and compassion for all worldly creatures and they convey very complex philosophical and religious messages in very simple language depicted with the use of simple natural elements such as, birds, river, tree, mountains & kids.
His poetry has been acclaimed and appreciated not only by his followers & poetry lovers but also by eminent litterateurs many superior poet. His poetry is a class apart and this is evident by the fact that many of his poet.

3. Sant TarunSagar
"I am making an appeal to the whole Jain community that still there is time left. They themselves become vigilant and caution there young generation . I can foresee the cloud of trouble gathering the sky of Jain community in the near future".

Most venerable, knowledgeable & the most ancient in the tradition of the Digambar Jain ascetics of the present day Pujya Ganini Pramukh Shri Gyanmati Mataji is like the brilliant sun on the wide–spread sky of Jain tradition in present century.

Since the beginning Mata Gyanmati Ji was having keen desire for acquiring knowledge. She gained a lot of knowledge in very less time and also became an expert of various languages as Hindi, Sanskrit, Prakrit, Kannad, Marathi etc.

Infact there was no example of writing scriptures by Jain Sadhvis(female saints) in history of 2500 years after Lord Mahavir the 24th teerthankar (Jain Lord) but she created a landmark by writing more than 250 Jain scriptures till date…
